Just ahead of Halloween, Vans has unveiled a seasonally appropriate take on the Sk8-Hi dubbed “Dia De Los Muertos.†Following Running Shoes closely in the footsteps of a spooky, spiderweb-equipped Sk8-Hi created in collaboration with British retailer size?, the brand has plastered one of its most classic silhouettes with a new motif that nods to Mexico’s annual remembrance of the dead.
Following its collaboration with Vans Womens Honda and Fox Racing, Supreme has teamed up with another iconic label and is set to drop a new sneaker. The New York-based skateboarding shop and clothing brand has partnered up with Vans to design the latest version of the iconic Sk8-Hi Pro which you’ll definitely want to add to your fall collection.
For the fall season, Supreme presents their latest collaboration with exclusivebooms on new versions of the Sk8-Hi Pro skate shoe. The release will consist of three color options that features premium suede and canvas uppers with the phrase “Fuck The World†embroidered onto the ankles. A leather lining and vulcanized waffle outsole completes the design.
The pack features three different takes on the Classic Slip-On VLT LX and three versions of the Vans Sk8 Hi Mte Metallic Alloy/Heavenly Pink Reissue VLT LX. The different designs all reference iconic Hirst artworks, with one set featuring a colorful all-over spot pattern, alongside a twist on the classic Vans checkerboard. Other designs reference Hirst’s butterfly work — showcased in his recent “Mandalas†exhibition — and the spin skull design.
